I am a software engineer currently working as a Lead Backend Engineer at Doist Inc, creators of Todoist and Twist. I've been working with Python in my day job for over 7 years now. I have a Bachelor's in CSE from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology.

I love Python and have had the privilege of working with some industry veterans in the Python community like Lennart Regebro and Daniel & Audrey Greenfeld. I was also a tech reviewer for Two Scoops of Django's latest edition.

Amirah is a former Full-Stack .NET developer who transitioned into Python and quickly embraced the art of clean, maintainable code. She sees refactoring not as rework, but as a path to performance, reliability, and developer well-being. In her current role, she focuses on improving code quality and maintainability by simplifying dependencies, applying SOLID principles, and ensuring logic resides in the right layer. For Amirah, code cleanup is about building software that is sustainable, scalable, and a joy to work with.

Anubhav is a Senior Software Engineer at National Australia Bank, where he focuses on system test automation, backend tooling, and developer productivity across large-scale microservices.

Previously, he worked at Swiggy, one of India’s leading tech startups, where he contributed to improving automation frameworks and scaling quality practices in a high-growth environment. Before that, he began his career at STMicroelectronics, gaining hands-on experience with low-level engineering and large enterprise systems.

Outside of work, Anubhav is an active open-source contributor and the creator of RedCoffee, a Python CLI for generating SonarQube reports that has been downloaded over 36,000 times worldwide. He enjoys building tools that bridge gaps between developer workflows and real-world usability, with interests spanning Python, Docker, cloud-native ecosystems, and test automation.

When he’s not writing code, Anubhav enjoys traveling (especially to Japan), exploring local cultures, and tinkering with creative side projects that merge technology with everyday life.

Dima Maharika Dinama is a community organizer at Python Indonesia, where he leads PyCon ID and run meetups. Since 2020, he has been guiding the development of the PyCon ID website, making key decisions on how it grows and serves the community. By day, Dima works as a civil servant at the Ministry of Industry in Indonesia, where Python sometimes sneaks in to help automate his tasks. He enjoys traveling to PyCons around the world to meet friends, share stories, and bring new ideas back home.

Assoc Prof Dr. Yu Yong Poh is a seasoned data scientist and academic with 15 years of experience in both industry and academia. He holds a PhD from the University of Malaya and currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Centre for Business Incubation and Entrepreneurial Ventures, where he fosters academic-industry collaboration and promotes startups.

Dr. Yu has successfully delivered numerous data science and AI projects across various sectors, including banking, healthcare, manufacturing, and digital marketing. He is also an active trainer and researcher, specializing in unstructured data modeling, data science, and analytics.

Dr. Yu has published extensively and holds several professional certifications, including SAS Certified Predictive Modeler and recognition as a Professional Technologist by the Malaysia Board of Technologists.

Joy is a data scientist, software engineer, product manager, project manager, tech leader, consultant, and innovator who has delivered many creative and engaging solutions in massive-scale technologies. As a technology professional, his experience demonstrated in various industries such as technology, transportation, education, e-commerce, finance, telco, macroeconomics, health, etc. He also actively participates and involves in various technology communities and events.

Has 2x experiences as a technical advisor (Equivalent to Echelon II) to the ministerial and head of the ministerial-level agency. Has 3x led digital transformation in government and State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). Also, he was rewarded as an Alibaba Cloud Most Valuable Professional in Big Data starting from 2019.

Joy is known for his work during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. He developed the Sistem Informasi Satu Pintu, which is a combination of several important information systems in handling COVID-19, such as the All Record TC-19, RS Online, SiLacak, and Aplikasi Satu Data Kesehatan. In addition, he developed Tele Sehat Desa, a system that is an important infrastructure for the expansion of village community health services, and Tele Detection, a digital tracing system in the context of handling COVID-19 in Indonesia.

Kalyan is a Lead Data and AI scientist with a background as a former data science and analytics manager, effectively balancing both academia and industry. He has presented talks at various PyCon's, Data Science and AI conferences, showcasing his expertise. As a community leader, Kalyan currently serves as the one of the Chair for PyConf Hyderabad 2025 and has held the role of Co-chair for PyCon India 2023 and PyConf Hyderabad from 2022 to 2024. In addition to these leadership positions, he is an active contributor to numerous Python, data science, and scientific communities worldwide.

Jyy Bing's story began in analytics, where she mastered the art of creating comprehensive master datasets to map the entire customer journey, from initial profiling to on-page user behavior. This early work quickly pushed her beyond traditional analytics, leading her to pioneer a hands-on approach to DevOps. She took on the challenge of self-hosting her own Airflow instance and learned to configure CI/CD pipelines with YAML, ultimately mastering deployments to Kubernetes.

Today, Jyy Bing applies this unique blend of skills in the green energy sector as a Data Engineer at Ørsted. She manages over 600 datasets, engineering high-performance data pipelines with Python, SQL, and other tools to process sensor data from above and below the sea. Her work is critical to supporting engineers in maintaining the health of wind turbines, a powerful example of data's impact in the real world.

As a passionate advocate for advancing Python’s role in modern data engineering, Jyy Bing is continually exploring tools that promise faster and more reliable data manipulation. I am Neha, a passionate PhD researcher currently pursuing my doctorate in Precision Medicine in Oncology and Complex Disorders at the University of Newcastle. As an international student from India, I am deeply invested in exploring the intersection of machine learning, oncology, and complex disorders to advance personalized healthcare solutions.

With over 8 years of experience in the IT sector, I have worked with esteemed companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and HCL Technologies, where I honed my skills in IT infrastructure, data analytics, and machine learning. My professional journey has provided me with a solid foundation in leveraging technology to solve real-world challenges.

In addition to my research, I am proud to have received fellowships from the Indian government as a Women Scientist and CMIE Fellow, recognizing my contributions to both technology and scientific research. Outside of academia, I work part-time with organizations like Junior Engineers and Code Camp, where I teach coding to students in schools across Australia, inspiring the next generation of tech leaders.

Raziq Din is a full-stack developer and community builder from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is currently developing dynamic, article-based websites for Hospital Kuala Lumpur , supporting healthcare events and public communications with fast, accessible platforms. His previous work includes designing and deploying responsive conference websites and building custom content management tools tailored to real-world teams.

Beyond his professional role, Raziq is an active contributor to the local tech community. He volunteers with Cloud Native Kuala Lumpur, assisting with event operations and community engagement, and serves as Vice President of Goal Execution (External Affairs) at the IT Society Cyberjaya, where he leads initiatives to grow student participation in tech.

Raziq is pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) in Software Engineering at Multimedia University. Passionate about web development, databases, and system design, he enjoys turning abstract concepts into practical solutions while helping others navigate the tech landscape.

Prior to Sinar Project, he previously worked as a Cloud Security Specialist in the Cybersecurity dept at a local telco. Before that, he had also worked as a Devops Engineer & System Engineer in various industries including domain registrar, fintech, proptech & others.

Saurabh is a Cloud Architect with a deep passion for DevOps and automation. Saurabh actively engages with the tech community, sharing insights on cloud-native technologies, security, and multi-cloud strategies. As a speaker at various conferences, meetups, and workshops, Saurabh helps teams enhance their cloud adoption and optimization efforts.

Yen Wai is a certified cybersecurity consultant with expertise in penetration testing and red teaming domains. She is not only an active CTF player, but also the organizer for various Capture the Flag (CTF) events in the past, which includes Battle of Hackers, Girls in CTF etc. As a person who is passionate in building the cybersecurity community in Malaysia, you will always find her involvement in different conferences. She was also a panelist for Youth in Cyber panel discussion at CYDES.
